HearScreener Growth System: Not Just for Audiology Practices!
When HearScreener was conceived, designed and developed by its founder Guy Wolstencroft, it was done so to fulfil a very specific need. Despite owning a successful private audiology practice on the Isle of Man, Guy was frustrated by the cost and effectiveness of acquiring new customers, through the traditional routes of raising local brand awareness and buying in lead data. Then, having proved its success, he initially envisaged it being used by similar sized independent audiology practices on the main land. However, its application was far more powerful than that!
Adding Value to Allied Businesses
In the last month, HearScreener was introduced on trial with both AgeUK, and Hearing & Mobility UK. These businesses of course have their own associated audiology partners who benefit from the customers the HearScreener acquires, but equally as important, they add an extra service and value to their High Street retail outlets and advice centres where they are positioned.
Results are still being collated and analysed, but on a more â€œcustomer offerâ€ perspective, centre staff have been excited with the extra service they can now offer.
The Birth of the Health Hub
Itâ€™s something we first noticed when working with community pharmacies. There was desire for their businesses to be recognised as 1st line health and well-being hubs, extending their roles from medication dispensers, to health advisers and the focal point for initial (low severity) consultations for the local community. So for them, having a HearScreener provided a perfect fit to that model. Of course, there is a financial benefit for them hosting our kiosks, but it far more readily accepted when it adds such great intrinsic value to what they do and how the community perceives them.
Building connections and market intelligence
Having our screeners in such a wide range of locations, across the whole British Isles, means weâ€™ve made great connections and gathered invaluable market intelligence that benefits not just our own business, but those who host our screeners and the audiology practices who it provides new customers to.
